Specific Duties/Responsibilities:
• Ensure monthly reports are prepared accurately and on time for the Country Director and trustees based on reports/updates from field staff;
• Lead preparation of reports for donors from monthly reports, case studies and other information provided by field staff based on their individual reporting requirements;
• Be responsible for reviewing, updating & maintaining staff/organizational policy and procedure documents as necessary;
• Engage in monitoring of projects as required by the Country Director and management team;
• Be responsible for copy editing/formatting of field staff reporting and case studies to be used in presentations and web/social media;
• Be responsible for TGF’s web and social media presence, producing posts/updates on a regular basis based on communications timetable;
• Be responsible for a quarterly newsletter to be emailed to relevant stakeholders and posted on the TGF website;
• Be responsible for maintaining and updating the TGF website;
• Ensure sufficient soft copy & hard copy presentation materials are available for different stakeholders;
• Represent TGF at stakeholder meetings when required;
• Welcome and assist guests visiting TGF projects;
• Represent the goals, strategies and principles of Temple Garden Foundation in all interactions while at work, especially interaction with government officials, donors or potential donors and with other non- government organizations;
• Assist with any additional tasks as required.


• Essential Requirements
 Only candidates offering a one year commitment will be considered
o Communication and Interaction
 Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
 Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to consult negotiate and liaise effectively with a broad range of people.
 Ability to develop and maintain effective professional networks.
o Organisation
 Excellent time management skills
 Experience creating and working to fixed timetables/schedules to ensure work is completed accurately and on time
o Team Work
 Ability to work cooperatively in a small team environment.
o Academic Qualifications
 Bachelor’s Degree in Business and/or Management field or;
 Bachelor’s Degree in Development field
o Technical Skills
 Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office, Social Media and Website updates
 Ability to work independently as well a working as part of a team
• Desirable
 Previous experience in project management
 Previous experience in rural development
 Previous experience in communications/management support
 Master’s degree in development field

Preference for bachelor or master student No preference
